This year, almost 1,100 organisations around the world have received the Top Employers certification. Out of this large group of employers, a select group of companies has been certified as a Top Employer Global 2016.
These are the companies that received the exclusive certification as a Top Employer Global for this year: DHL Express, Dimension Data, JT International, Orange, Saint-Gobain, TATA Consultancy Services, Technip and Valeo.
The Top Employers certification is only awarded to employers who demonstrate forward-thinking HR practices, have exceptional employee offerings, and foster an employee environment that promotes the personal and professional development of its employees. These organisations have all been certified in various regions throughout the world and have harmonised their businesses in a way which has not only benefited their employees but also their operations.
Ken Allen, CEO at DHL Express
Being a Global Top Employer for the second year in a row only reinforces what our people tell us: we are not only the World’s Most International Company - we are also one of its Most International Employers of Choice!
Brett Dawson, CEO at Dimension Data’s Group
We are very excited to be recognised as one of the top organisations in the world for two years running. Dimension Data has a very clear strategy - we want to be the company that makes a real difference to our clients, our people, our shareholders, and societies. I’m proud of the great work that our growing team of over 31,000 people do every day to help our clients accelerate their ambitions.
Howard Parks, Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Executive Committee member at JTI
Our ever-widening international presence matched with our consistent practice of cultivating a work environment appreciated by employees, has again been recognized by Top Employer. Our efforts in applying a consistent gold standard of HR practices across all our regions has obviously played a strong part in achieving recognition in an increasing number of countries. If you combine this with the results of a recent employee engagement survey where 95% of employees said they are willing to do more to make the company succeed, we clearly have a work environment we can be proud of.
Bruno Mettling, Deputy Chief Executive Officer in charge of Group Human Resources at Orange
It was a doubly special feeling for me to receive the Top Employer Global 2016 certification yesterday evening on behalf of Orange. A special collective feeling, because I immediately thought about all the work and commitment our teams put into it in all those countries. Imagine! 29 countries and territories on 5 continents! A special personal feeling as well because, for me, this achievement is both a high point and a foundation on which a unique, digital, human experience will be built for the men and women of the Group.
Claire Pedini, Senior Vice President in charge of Human Resources at Saint-Gobain
The Top Employer certification is part of our open and continuous improvement approach. The audit enables us to identify innovative human resources practices outside the Company and to discuss our short- and long-term challenges. The label also strengthens our employer brand,
Ajoy Mukherjee, Executive Vice President and Global Head Human Resources at TCS
We feel delighted and privileged to have been certified as Global Top Employer by the Top Employer Institute. This is a re-affirmation of our commitment to our people, in creating an exceptional environment and a nurturing platform that helps TCSers around the world to realize their potential.
Thierry Parmentier, Group HR Director at Technip
This is now 6 years that Technip has been recognized as a Top Employer in various countries and regions, and the second time in a row that our company gets the global recognition. This is positive evidence that despite the challenging context we are facing, we continue to make every effort to take our people further by implementing and applying ambitious HR policies and practices everywhere we operate and by offering our employees professional development and international opportunities, regardless of their gender, origin or cultural background.
Simon Harris, Valeo Group Management Development and Involvement of Personnel Director at Valeo
We are proud to be among the select group of Global Top Employers for the second year in a row, declared. This achievement, combined with our Top Employer certification in 22 countries and for the Asia-Pacific and Europe regions, recognizes Valeo as a benchmark in terms of HR policies and career management. This is particularly important for the motivation of our teams and for recruitment during this period of strong growth for Valeo.
